Mail Design Professional (MDP)
The Mail Design Professional (MDP) course offers in-depth training on postal standards for designing letter and flat mail. It focuses on optimizing designs for high-speed automation processing while maximizing cost efficiency and minimizing delays. This allows customers to enhance their professionalism, maximize their proficiency in designing letter-size and flat-size mail while meeting USPS standards.This 3-day course (May 16-18)will cover elements of design that will increase the market value and deliverability of mailpieces. Participants will learn how to properly design various types of mail to enhance its compatibility with USPS automation equipment while maximizing cost effectiveness. Upon course completion participants can obtain certification by successfully completing an exam with a passing score of 80%. This certification is valid for 2-years and with the participant's permission, their name and organization are displayed on the official MDP site. Graduates can also request a digital badge that can be added to email and public social media outlets, such as LinkedIn. In addition to an NPFregistration, a $49 processing fee applies.

Direct Mail Marketing
Direct mail continues to evolve as a connected, measurable and performance-driven part of the omnichannel mix. The Direct Mail Marketing Certificate explores how data, technology and creative strategy work together to increase relevance, engagement and marketing impact. Qualifying workshops are expected to cover audience targeting, personalization, USPS Promotions & Incentives, omnichannel integration, AI and automation, creative innovation, attribution and measurement. Participants will gain practical insight into building more effective, measurable direct mail programs. The certificate is available at no additional cost to NPF attendees who complete a minimum of seven (7) qualifying Direct Mail Marketing workshops during NPF 2027.
Mail Center Management
Today’s mail centers require informed, efficient operations and the ability to adapt as postal requirements, technologies and workflows evolve. The Mail Center Manager Certificate helps professionals build practical knowledge across the mail lifecycle, with qualifying workshops expected to address postal policy, pricing and classification, compliance, address quality, mail preparation, automation, cost optimization and USPS tools. Participants will gain strategies to improve accuracy, reduce operational friction, control costs and strengthen overall mail performance. The certificate is available at no additional cost to NPF attendees who complete a minimum of five (5) qualifying Mail Center Manager workshops during NPF 2027.
Empowered Leadership
Strong leadership helps organizations adapt, collaborate and perform at their best. The Empowered Leadership Certificate is designed for professionals who want to strengthen their ability to lead people, navigate change and build high-performing teams. Qualifying workshops will explore communication, coaching, mentorship, workforce development, organizational culture, change readiness, AI fluency and leadership agility. Participants will gain practical insights to strengthen their impact, support others and lead with greater confidence across changing workplace demands. The certificate is available at no additional cost to NPF attendees who complete a minimum of five (5) qualifying Empowered Leadership workshops during NPF 2027.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received by the National Postal Forum prior to February 26, 2027, are subject to a $25 processing fee. Cancellations received between February 27, and April 19, 2027, are subject to a $100 processing fee. No refunds, full or partial, will be issued for cancellations received after April 19, 2027. All cancellations must be received in writing to the National Postal Forum. Cancellation of NPF registration will also cancel your hotel accommodations if the reservation was made through the NPF. Cancellations can be processed through the NPF online registration system or via email: info@npf.org
